Beginning of The Worship Event

The Worship Event blog has just started. It will be a resource for worship leaders and worshipers alike to collaborate in edifying the church and glorifying God. The blog will be filled with writings, songs (recordings and chord charts), possible melodies and lyrics to use for song writers, and helpful tips for worship. It is in the beginning stages, but as material comes in, it will be posted. Check back periodically to see what is offered.

This site is entitled The Worship Event for the truth that worship is an event already occurring. We often believe that worship happens only because of us. In other words, it begins with us and ends with us. The reality, however, is that worship begins and ends with God. He is both the subject and the object of our worship, and worship itself is an actual event already taking place, which we have the amazing privilege of joining and taking part in. As we seek to make our very lives a continuous part of this event, this site will help in forming right worshipers.
